The 2023 edition of the Fechner Day, the 39th Annual meeting of the International Society for Psychophysics is organized by the Patrizio Paoletti Foundation and by its Research Institute for Neuroscience, Education and Didactics (RINED).

RINED is also organizing the 3rd Edition of the International Conference on the Neurophysiology of Silence (I.C.O.N.S.) in the same venue on the 13th of September 2023. The 3rd edition of I.C.O.N.S. will focus on Neuroaesthetics and Art perception.

Conference Venue and Accommodation:
The Conference will take place in Grand Hotel Assisi, in Assisi (PG).
The Conference Venue is very near to the historical centre of Assisi, in the Umbria region of Italy, the centre of the country.

Larger airports close are “Rome Fiumicino Leonardo da Vinci Airport (FCO)” and “Rome Ciampino G.B. Pastine Airport (CIA)”. Both airports are connected to the main Rome train station (Rome Termini) by train, taxi or bus. From Rome the best way to reach Assisi is by train, almost every hour there is a train from Rome to Assisi and the travel time is about 2 hours.
The closest airport is “Umbria Airport S. Francesco d'Assisi (PEG)“, in Perugia, with only selected destination, please check at this link. From Perugia to Assisi the train is the best option, every half an hour there is a train to Assisi and the travel last 20 minutes.

Registration fees for the Fechner Day conference, September 10-14, 2023.
The registration fee includes access to all lectures, proceedings, poster presentations, coffee breaks and meals. The registration fee includes access to I.C.O.N.S. lectures on the 13th of September.
The registration fees DOES NOT include accommodation.

Please submit your abstract or a short article (no more than six pages) before the deadline, to [email protected]

The registration will be held in Grand Hotel Assisi on the 10th September at 14.00. The conference will start afterward at 15.30. The welcome meeting will also be held in Grand Hotel Assisi on the 10th September at 19.30 after the first lectures. You are welcome to join to meet other attendees!
The Conference Dinner will be held on the 13th of September at Borgo Antichi Orti
